Shiv. Genetic work on schistosomes

Dear Shiv, Indian schistosomes need work to find out hybrids, strains existing in the country- chances of emerging a new pathogen more harmful to man and his animals ; also interplay of schistosome species in the snails and mammals -how these interactions are affecting epidemiology of the disease. All these studies can be undertaken only by molecular studies- an area still unexplored . may respond at my e-mail ( drmcagrawal@gmail.com) for futher discussion.
